Over three weeks ago I sent in my sketch cards for TOPPS' upcoming STAR WARS GALACTIC FILES trading card set.  Today I received an email stating my cards are overdue.

A few phone calls later and I have nada.

Have they been lost by the mail-carrier?  Maybe...

Have they been stolen?  Who knows...

If they happen to pop up on ebay or any place else, please let me know.

Thank you.

The 'thanks' first- haven't been on DA for a while, thanks to everyone who's stopped by and fav'd and commented and watched and so forth, and if I don't get around to responding to you personally know that it's much appreciated.

Wolves of Odin is a book created by Grant Gould :icongrantgoboom:, and I'm on board to draw the second installment, Marauders of Midgard, published by Super Real Graphics.

Grant and I are aiming to have it done by SDCC 2012, so stay tuned for updates in the coming months.
As a nice aside from the daily grind I'll be drawing some pages for Matinee Eclectica.

Damn, just saw that Al Williamson has passed.

For all you artists out there who aren't familiar with him, I suggest you run a search.

Good journey, Al.  Beat up Ming for me in the afterlife.
  • Mood: Sadness
Things looked good for the Flyers after game 4, they evened the series, but then they stopped skating.  Sloppy defense, no hustle and some lazy penalties as a result of the two hurt them.  The Hawks skated rings around them for the better part of a game and two thirds, something clicked in the third period tonight and the Fly Guys suddenly remembered they were playing to stave off elimination, They tied the game, but lost in sudden-death overtime.  If only they had that gusto in the previous five periods.

Hats off the the Hawks.

Considering the near disaster this season was for the Flyers they had a great run: making the playoffs on the last day in the last game, in an overtime shootout no less, and charging back against Boston from a three game to zero deficit to make it to the finals, I'd say they did a good job.

Thanks for the crazy ride, Flyers. There's always next year.
  • Mood: Sadness
  • Watching: Stanley Cup Finals postgame
The Black Hawks took the first two at home in Chicago, the Flyers have responded by winning their first two home games.  So far the Flyers haven't dropped a playoff series this year after winning game four, and I hope that trend continues (despite the sloppy defensive zone coverage).

Go Flyers!
  • Watching: Stanley Cup Finals
  • Eating: fingernails
Flyers are heading to Chicago to play for the Cup!  With a little luck I'll see them win it at least once in my lifetime!

Go Flyers!
Really...llamas?

Thanks to all those who have added me to their watch list and fav'd my work, it's much appreciated!

...and thanks for the llamas, too! :)
